JACOB DE HAAN

Il più grande compositore di musica per Banda e Orchestre di fiati, sono cresciuto musicalmente suonando le sue composizioni, vere e proprie opere d'arte. Grandissime sonorità magistralmente intrecciate a formare un unica grande musica. 

In Italia il termine Banda è ancora associato solo alla musica dilettantistica, nel resto del mondo invece è semplicemente un altro modo di suonare ad altissimi livelli. De Haan ha contribuito non poco a cambiare le cose nel nostro paese........questo qua sotto è solo un assaggio di ciò che una Banda può fare......

Jacob de Haan (Heerenveen, 28 marzo 1959) è un compositore olandese, autore di brani per Banda ed orchestre a fiati.

Musicista olandese di Utrecht noto soprattutto grazie alle sue composizioni per banda. I suoi studi iniziano presso il conservatorio di Leeuwarden dove successivamente trova impiego come docente. Jacob de Haan deve la sua formazione anche all'ambiente familiare che gli permette l'avvicinamento alla musica (piano e tromba) fin dalla giovane età. Tra le sue composizioni più note vanno ricordate Oregon, Concerto d'Amore (usato spesso nei concorsi bandistici) e La Storia, musica da film "al contrario", scritta senza sceneggiatura, su cui ognuno può imbastire il proprio canovaccio.
